Tashi, I have just written your parents to thank them for their kindness and hospitality while visiting Lungtenphug Primary School. Tashi, you are a gentleman of unexpected surprises! I hope our surprise visit to your father’s school did not inconvenience either of your parents.
Words are inadequate to express our appreciation for the many kindness and hospitality you extended to us as we travelled with you through Western Bhutan. You were a companion on a fascinating journey and your knowledge, interest, and flexibility made this trip a celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. Bhutan was known to me as a small….
Bhutan was known to me as a small, introvert and serene country. But after my trip, I came to realise that my past perception of this country is shallow and callous.
