Arrive at Paro. Received by YANA representative and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Paro
Excursion to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) and evening visit some sights. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Paro – Thimphu
Morning drive to Thimphu. Afternoon sightseeing of the Thimphu valley. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Thimphu
Thimphu valley sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive to Punakha via Dochula pass (3100m), from where you can enjoy a good view of the northern Himalayan ranges on very clear days. Afternoon hike to Chimi Lhakhang. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Punakha
Morning visit Punakha Dzong and hike to Khamsum Yuelay Namgyal Choeten. Its a moderate hike through the rice paddies. Afternoon explore Nobgang village. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Punakha – Trongsa
Drive to Trongsa. On route view Chendebji Choeten. Afternoon visit the Ta-Dzong (The ancient watch tower for Trongsa Dzong). Overnight at lodge.
Day 8: Trongsa – Bumthang
Drive to Bumthang. On route visit the woolen textile store in Chumey. Lunch in Bumthang. Afternoon visit Jakar Dzong and evening at leisure. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 9: Bumthang
Sightseeing of Bumthang valley. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 10: Bumthang – Mongar
Drive to Mongar. We will drive across the country’s highest mountain pass – ‘Thrumshingla Pass‘ – at an elevation of 12,400ft = 3750m. Evening visit the Mongar Dzong and explore the Mongar town. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 11: Mongar – Tashigang
Drive to Tashigang. Afternoon sightseeing of the township. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 12: Tashigang
Day’s exploration of Tashigang with visit to Choeten Kora in the morning and afternoon at leisure. Overnight at lodge.
Day 13: Tashigang – Samdrup Jongkhar
Drive to Samdrup Jongkhar. On route visit Zangdopelri Temple at Kanglung. Farewell dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 14: Samdrup Jongkhar – Gauhati
Onwards to Gauhati (India) for departure. YANA representative will help you complete the check in formalities and bid you farewell.
