The Black-necked Crane Festival was excellent! The local dancers and their colorful costumes were beautiful together with the music. And seeing the actual cranes (at least 65) wild in the massive valley was incredible. We could not believe that the entire festival crowd was served biscuits, milk tea and bubble gum by local students moving through the crowd! It was quite an experience we won’t soon forget.
